Professional Law Partnership RIDD Vilnius and its partners have completed the assessment of regulatory burden in five selected municipalities (Vilnius City, Kaunas City, Klaipėda District, Druskininkai and Visaginas).
The assessment was carried out in order to analyse and offer better regulation measures to reduce administrative burden and regulatory burden for economic entities in the selected 5 (five) municipalities. The assessment reports of regulatory burden in 5 (five) municipalities have been prepared during the assessment. The reports provide a study of excessive, overlapping and incompatible requirements for businesses, gaps and outdated requirements as set out in the legal acts of the selected municipalities. It is advisable that the measures detailed in the Reports for reducing administrative burden, regulatory burden and other better regulation measures be included in the strategic business plans of the municipalities – as individual measures or integrated into other measures.
The Project is implemented under Measure No. 10.1.4-ESFA-V-921 “Implementation of better regulation and improvement of business oversight system” of Priority Axis 10 “Society-Oriented Smart Public Administration” of the Operational Programme for the European Union Funds’ Investments for 2014-2020. Project No. 10.1.4-ESFA-V-921-01-0003.
